We are PROUD!

I wish someone could actually tell this team that the fans are proud of them. No matter what; we all bound together and believe in this team, now and for the future. Maybe this seasons playoff shot is unrealistic, but the team should continue to play hard for the fans. We all hung in their and showed our support when everyone else had already counted the Devils out. We fans can't thank you enough for making this second half of the season exciting. Every game I was at was fun and exhilarating. It was fun watching this team, have fun! You have 7 games left, have fun. Not to mention we are excited about Parise's return. Play the remainder of the games for each other.

Play for your coach who came in and helped turn this team around. If we won the rest of the games Lemaire could still get coach of the year, why not play for that. Also 5 of the remaining 7 games are at home. Lets end the season showing other NHL teams that you do not want to come to the rock to play because these New Jersey Devils are a great team and hard to beat. Not to mention the fans are loud and love the New Jersey Devils!

NJ Devils viewing party at Miami Mikes

Miami Mikes have had three devils' viewing parties recently. The last one was March 6th, 2011 vs the New York Islanders. It was fun and exiting watching the game with other fans. Every close goal or hard hit made me feel like I was at the game when the crowd shouts ooo's and ahhh's. Miami Mikes also gave away prizes in a raffle of signed memorabilia to participating fans. The memorabilia was donated by Sports Express (Vic LunaticVic Cruz). Here are some pics and I will post video later of everyone celebrating Rolstons goal.

Twibbon. More support from the fans.

Fans continue to amaze as they create new ways of supporting the New Jersey Devils. Now fans created a twibbon, which is a new social media application that puts banners over your twitter image. Check it out, feel free to support the team too.

Devils use "Pens" to Continue writing history!

Last night was another great one at the Rock. The stands were packed and the fans were loud. It's a shame for anyone who could not have seen it in person. Next week will continue to be exciting. The playoff atmosphere will continue. Tuesday night the Devils will take on the Ottawa Senators at home.

New Jersey was able to kill off a penalty in the third which got the fans going. The crowd kept chanting Lets Go Devils!

The Devils were able to pull out another 2pts as Kovy knocked in another game winner. This time in overtime. We have a few videos of the excitement below. And if you missed the three stars its the second video below. I'm pretty sure you can hear Kovy say we will go all the way! Check it out and be sure to try and attend at least one of the home games next week. It is well worth it, Trust Me! We Believe!

Kovalchuck Again

Devils bounced back after a 1-0 deficit to win over the Tampa Bay Lighting 2-1. Kovalchuck scored his 22nd of the season to make it 2-1. Henrik Tallinder scored the devils tying goal. The fans were loud and helped the devils surge. Check out the goal by kovalchuk, and then the celebration by the fans.

Devils FANS BELIEVE

For everyone who think that devils fans are disillusioned about making the playoffs. We are not, we just believe in and support our team. New Jersey Fans have always had the persona of being fair weathered. This season shows that the Devils have a real fan base. The fans are as devoted as any others. We believe we have a great team and they are playing great hockey.

Earlier in the season everyone was saying how terrible this team was among many other things. Instead of the fan base breaking apart it grew closer.

New Jersey Devils are to come together, using their blogs, tweets and status updates to lead the way. There is a uniform voice beginning to develop among the faithful. One saying let's unite; let’s figure out a way to give our team back the advantage of home ice. The whole fan base wants the team to know that we are behind them, that “WE BELIEVE”. That we’ve seen them do it before and we believe they can do it again.

The team is listening. For example, fans pushed for and got a "fan section" at The Rock in order to jack the volume of "Let's go Devils" chants. Also, the team offered discounted seats for this section. The fact that the front office listens to Devil’s fans is great news for all fans.
Now, we acknowledge that some sections that have always been loud and/or insane... 214, 230-233 come to mind. The key is making the fans a part of something bigger. Whether chanting at The Rock or commenting on Facebook any fan who wants to be part of this team can make a difference.

And the fact is, the Devils fans are! Mission Control has launched and has rallied fans together at games and online. The players themselves have acknowledged how much louder and supportive the fans have been. After the 1-0 Win over the Rangers, Kovalchuck thanked the fans for their support this whole season. Other players, like Clarkson, have pointed to the stands during the games letting us know they hear us!

Despite this year’s bad start, the Devils deserve a strong fan base. Lou built one of the true dynasties in sports and we’ve been lucky to call that team ours for over a decade. We are not disillusioned we just BELIEVE in our team, and won’t give up. What is wrong with that?

So, fellow devoted Devils fans, let’s continue to stand together and stay engaged. If anyone has comments about the added section please post it. Any additional ideas can be shared here.
